Puppy Genius Class

Puppy Genius is for puppies from 8 weeks - 5 months of age

Best Behaved Canine Good Citizen

Class is open to all breeds and all ages starting at 5 months old. Includes AKC CGC Canine Good Citizen Certification

  • Training for real life!
  • We will work on Reliable recalls, impulse control, learning to relax, time out, beginning to learn to behave in public in real life on walks in public places, parks and in the restaurants.
  • You and your dog both will learn how to communicate, collaborate, and build a strong loving relationship for a lifetime.

AKC Public Access Urban Canine Good Citizen. Preparation for Therapy Dog work and Service dog training

AKC Canine Good Citizen prerequisite. This is the highest level of AKC Canine Good citizen Program

 

  • This class is a preparation for an AKC Public Access Test 
  • (5) - 1 hour lessons in a group of other advanced students and their handlers
  • Continue to work in public setting with multiple distractions a group
  • Work in stores, buildings, public places 
  • Learning to go in and out of the car politely
  • Learn to walk stairs in crowded places
  • Crossing the street in places with smells, noises, crowds and strange dogs
  • Visit to restaurants and coffee shops
  • An AKC Canine Good Citizen is a requirement to test for AKC Urban CGC
  • Excellent way to prepare yourself and your dog for Therapy work or Service Dog training
  • Upon completion an AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (UCGC)  evaluation session ($150 value) is included
